We have a Dunlopillo latex mattress and it is wonderful and has been for years. It is also good if you suffer from allergies of course. I do get hot in the summer but I do get hot anyway in bed and we have a divan base so maybe with a more conventional base that would be less of a problem.
They are expensive but worth it. I need to replace mine shortly and will be looking for another one. However I have just read comments above and a bit worried to hear that the latest Dunlopillo mattresses are not such good quality and also smaller. Anyone else care to comment?
I bought a Dunlopillo mattress last July. When it arrived, I noticed it was mishappen and felt a bit lumpy. I thought the quality was poor for such an expensive mattress. With a week, I contacted the shop. Within a fortnight a representative from Dunlopillo came to our house and agreed the mattress was faulty. I was offered a replacement, but declined. My money was refunded. I then ordered a Relyon mattress - less than half the price, and double the quality and comfort.
The shop I purchased the mattress from dealt with my problem very professionally.
I understand that the quality of Dunlopillo beds has declined in the past few years .......
