  • There are two Pizza Expresses - go for the one by the train station if you can as it's bigger and in a nicer building.

    I would have gone for Jorvik over the Dungeons but that's purely because I think the Dungeons might be too scary for a six year old. As others have said the Castle Museum and Railway Museum are good, as is the Yorkshire Museum near the station which is in a really lovely park.

    You know i wondered why you put 6 year old, until i read my post back. Hes not 6 but 8, think I was half asleep when typing it, lol. There's so much to choose from, I think we will be planning other trip so that we can fit everything in. Can't wait

    If you do go to the castle museum or the yorkshire museum, then tell them you want an annual ticket (not a day pass).

    Both cost the same, but the annual ticket is valid 12 months!
