Ebay item never arrived

Where in the OP does it say when contact was made? Most buyers wouldn't wait a month before sending their first 'where's my item email' so it's possible the OP asked two weeks ago and told it was sent and is now coming here for advice. If the OP (which I have read in full) said they had asked more than once or contacted them recently then yes, open a dispute.
As for time running out, the OP has around 15 days to open a dispute based on what they've said, I think we can afford a few moments to question the circumstances. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -
Whenever the buyer the contacted the seller, they were given no advice or help from the seller, merely assurances that they have posted it.
Most sellers would back that up with, it could be at the local delivery office, are you able to check with them. If not I will call them to see if it was taken back there.
If it hasn't arrived within x amount of days, please let me know & I will refund you.
If it was sent tracked, the seller should have tracked it & told the buyer what the tracking was saying & or given them the tracking info.
The seller has been informed that there is a problem, they should be on the ball at resolving the problem.
Lazy slope shouldered sellers aren't needed on ebay.0 -
I'm surprised I sparked such debate on this issue!
As in my original post, I had already contacted the seller regarding the item not arriving, they said 'give it time' first.
I'm not sure I managed the Paypal claim correctly, nothing is showing there. However, I have messaged the person again via Ebay, and politely asked for a refund.0 -
Apparently paypal often try & get you to go back to ebay, so could you have been directed back there?
I take it that you looked for open cases in the resolution centre on PP?
I think that if you were directed back to ebay it will show in your purchased bit, I've only done NPB's but I think that's where it shows.0
