  • I quite like the pictures of cars idea. The track idea is quite good too - I don't know if you can get anything like this but when my sister got married in Cornwall her tables were named after places in the county and she used postcards of the places as the table numbers, so a track equivalent might work. Although I know very little about F1 I suspect it's a touch too cool for postcards though...

The other ideas I've seen are different Inuit words for snow (although that was a December wedding so might not work for April!) and 'old Hollywood' movie stars.

Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")

We're thining of having the countries or cities we've been to as a couple forr the table names, with the top table being the honeymoon destination.

This also means we have to visit a few more places before the wedding day! :)

I like the gemstone idea, I am still relieved that OH doesn't want to name ours after Manchester United legends. We are going for places we will visit on our honeymoon. we are going away for 6 months so there are plenty to choose from

I don't think there would be any postcards you would be able to get for F1.
But the outline of the tracks can look really good.

Do you like travelling? maybe use names of places where F1 races are held.

Just to play devils advocate what if he doesn't like Gemstones?

mine wanted Bolton players so we have stuck with numbers! and I have some lovely 3D numbers from hobbycraft spraypainted gold and put gems and pearls on them, I really pleased with them.

both my OH and I are VW daft, so are probably going to name our tables after types of VW's - Campervan, Golf, Beatle, Corraddo, Scirroco etc - only argument will be over what we call the Top Table - OH loves his Golfs, I love the old Campervans!
