As far as im aware after the 9th month of a 12month contract you can start talking to them about an upgrade. Think it does vary depending on the tariff your on, but worth a call to talk to them.0

It depends how much you spend each month on your phone.
When I was on Orange, I used to get an upgrade every 6 months, as I regularly spent over £100 (this before I came here, obviously!)
