Then she should be able to apply for a joint one with her partner too. See page 14, Section 2 (b) HERE.

But she could, for example, open a joint account with, for example, her partner?
She can certainly open/add you to a Current Account (i.e. not Reward Current Account).0 -

Let's hope they don't, between OH and me, we make £30 a month from them.0 -
I have just had reason to contact halifax (they lost £1000 of my money from my account, but that is another story) and because of my giving them a good going over regarding the issue, they told me (and my partner) that we are not allowed to have more than one reward account each and that they were downgrading, for each of us,2 out of the 3 accounts we each hold. When we opened the accounts, there was no such stipulation, otherwise how was it possible to open them to start with.To be honest, because of the carry on getting my £1000 back,i can't say i'm too distressed. The money went missing when doing our monthly swap around of the £1000 to qualify for the reward. It took 2 weeks for them to admit to making a mistake, putting the money back and paying me £50 compensation. But the question remains, are they correct in being able to downgrade peoples accounts, when it was perfectly legit to open them.0

I've read of a couple of people this is happening to now, so they do seem to be tightening up on it. I just hope I don't need to ring them about anything so as not to alert them to the fact that we've got 6 between us.0 -
I have 2 current accounts in my name, and until a month ago, I got the monthly fiver on both accounts. Without any communication / notice, they stopped paying the fiver into one account.
Both accounts were opened and are operated online, I never go into any branch. Basically the only purpose of the accounts is to get the fivers, am not using them for much else (though have got a reward savings account as well).
Seems they are happy for me to have the two accounts, just only want to pay me £5 rather than £10 a month. I wouldn't be surprised if they actually employ people to kill off multiple current account reward payments (i.e. spending £££££ to save ££, lol).0
