Thanks, I am not really sure what to buy or how much to spend:beer:0 -
the bricks are good. we have the click clack and it doesn't work on wodden floors. fire engine looks fab and i think you could buy just the fire engine phil, if you want.
the toddle trucks are the most played with toys at our playgroup but i suppose they might already have a baby walker and/or a ride-on car. that kind of thing takes up space but i'm thinking of my little house. extra bricks would be welcome even if they already have some, and you can never have enough fire engines! these are good too:

My son is 16 months, for his 1st birthday someone bought him a bucket of wooden bricks (Chad Valley £9.99 in woolworths but there are pleanty of other brands/shops) and not only are they played with daily by him but visiting children always seem to make a bee-line for them too:rolleyes:;).
However, if you want to indulge the big kid inside you then a trip to the ELC really is a must;) (They also sell wooden blocks & are a good shop for exchanges if Mum needs too for any reason)
HTH & good luck;)Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

If anyone lives in West Yorkshire and wanted to treat themselves or a friend to Mamas and Papas stuff there is a factory outlet just of J25 of the M62 (just outside Huddersfield).
They have furniture, clothes and all sorts in there and it tends to be about 50% of the price. The downside is that the stock tends to vary and it depends what they've got in.
HTH.
