  • I have bought presnets from H&M for friends kids and i've pickd up about 10items for th same price that it would cost in somewhere like Next.

I though the quality was good enough but I haven't got kids so tell me if i'm wrong.

I have a 5 year old DS and most of his stuff as a baby was Asda, Next (in the sale) and Tesco or Mothercare (usually in the sale, but i do like their basics like bodysuits and babygrows).

We are now pregnant again and again its Asda, Next and some Matalan so far. Been picking up bits when i get codes from Laredoute too.

Mamas and Papas is nice but very pricey, sometimes have good sale stuff tho. Wouldnt be one of the first places id look at.

I am looking for a present for a boy about 1 year old.

Whilst I want it to be decent I do not want to spend the earth.

Then i would look at Next, esp now in the sale. I love their smaller childrens clothes and am always delighted at getting Next things as a gift.

    about 1 year old

You need to be more precise than that if looking for kids clothes.

Does it have to be clothes? They grow out of things so quickly.

My daughter is one and we've just bought her these and she loves them.

She also loves crayons or pens or pencils and will continue to do so for years to come. You can buy pads of paper for drawing on too. It can be as cheap as you make it and always makes a great present for pre schoolers.

11 months- remember to buy 12-18 months clothes then. I know it sounds obvious but not to my MIL ;)

Is he walking? My Baby is 9 months, I have plenty of clothes, so possibly Tot's Mum has too. I agree with Mrcow, what about a pushalong toy?
