Do u wear makeup every day?

h007, I am in a sort of similar situation as I have never worn foundation as I have never thought my skin needed it but over the last couple of years I have really noticed my skin looking dull and less radiant. I have changed my skincare to adapt to the changes but have also invested in a tinted moisturiser for the days when it is particularly noticable. This shouldn't look mask like or even flat.
There are loads of light reflective products out there that should add the illusion of radiance. It might be worth trying ELF for really cheap makeup to get you started. If you start by wearing it at the weekend until you feel comfortable in it and then start wearing it to work.If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
I have to wear makeup if I leave the house. Really the question is just how much I do wear on any given occasion. Minimum is foundation and lipstick/gloss
To qualify that statement, I am transsexual and if I don't put the slap on, the dark colour around the facial hair area is a bit of a giveaway no matter how well I've shaved.....Proud of who, and what, I am. :female::male::cool:0 -
hi like gabby and ellies angel I do the "full hit" in the morning for work i would feel naked and awful without it, but primer first does make such a difference as also cant be bothered faffing in the day

Defo make up every day, can't go outside without it on! If I am at home for the day then will go without. Usual routine is about 5 mins for foundation, eyeliner, mascara and blusher, lipgloss goes on when I get to work.2019, move forward with positivity! I am the opposite of Eyeore :rotfl:0

Never wear it, cant be bothered. If I have the choice between getting up early and doing my face or staying in bed five more minutes... I know what I'll choose!0

i'm with Ms_Dalton - never wear it!
What my face says about me (and my hint of grey) is that I had 3 kids - and I SURVIVED!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

I had a small achievement the other day. I went out with just foundation on.

I use make up nearly every day. Not at the weekend when I am not going out.
Otherwise for work I wear light mineral powder foundation, blusher and mascara and that is it.
Just to look fresh and youthfull.0 -
I never wore make up because i had quite good skin but now i am in my early 30's i do think i should start wearing it as i am getting bad dark circles and my skin looks quite dull recently.
though i dont know how to start wearing it without being self concious. my work place is very cliquey and they notice this stuff and talk about the way people look. i am sure if i walk into the office wearing make up i wouldnt feel comfortable.
can anyone suggest what i can use to ease myself in and not be too obvious???
Mineral powder foundation.
You just brush it on, rather then apply luquid so it is less noticeable. I find that it just illuminates my skin if I only do one layer, for night I just go round face few more times.
There is several good ones out there, depends on your price tag. I currently use Elizabeth Arden, but that is £24 (though lasts months).
And then mascara. I would just put little, quick brush through to start with until you get used to it and experiment with layers.
I love Max Factor. Easy to use and non expensive (around tenner).0
