I like this one from Monsoon:
Too big? Too small? Too old? Too young? Too red?
Monsoon! There is no way I'm going in one of 'those' shops! :rotfl:
I used to get dragged round those shops all the time by my ex and I despise them!
I think she just wants something plain and ordinary. I really haven't got a clue! :rotfl:
What could I get her instead?
She says she doesn't want anything but I feel bad if I don't get her something else! Is a book voucher too boring?0 -

You could always order online - although that would cost extra, so maybe not.
I would like a book voucher as a present (shall I pm you my address?), or if she reads in bed, what about a book light?

Seriously. It's not good for a mans health to be in 'those' shops. I think it's something they put in the air con.
You're stood around waiting for your OH to try things on and stuff and you're stood there like a melon with suspicious glances coming your way. So, you start to browse to try and take the eyes off of you. You pick up the nearest thing and what does it turn out to be? A bra!
You get chased out of the shop being called a pervert and everything! It's really not a nice experience.
She doesn't read in bed but loves reading. Shall I get her a WH Smiths voucher or something then? Although it's not very imaginative at least I'll know she'll enjoy what she buys with it!0 -
I love books so book vouchers are always welcome. Sounds like a good plan to me... although loving the purse!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0

Yes, I would go for a WHSmiths voucher, as they sell plenty of other things in case she can't find a book she fancies. I love getting Borders or Waterstones vouchers too."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

How about Sharon Osborne's autobiography? £9 in Asda.
Ladies of a 'certain age' would like it.
