Posted elsewhere, but worth including on the main thread.
Gotta love the "if you join these two dots and ignore the bit in the middle, prices haven't changed." type comments.
Cos, y'know they have changed. And in many areas they are, y'know, falling.
And fairly significantly too.
Yup, the areas in which very few of us live (so that means we should drop our prices to match theirs).

Here is the new Zoopla Heatmap which pretty much identifies the places where it is cheap to live (with good reason usually).

Some of those YoY values are quite large. does anyone know what the YoY figures were for the previous year?
Especially for the worst hit:
Wales: +2.8% MoM ;-4.4% YoY
North West: -1% MoM ;-5.2% YoY
North East: -2.1% MoM ;-7.1% YoY
Trying to figure out how 1 to 2% monthly falls, or indeed 5 to 7% annual falls equal stagnation.
Trying to figure out why you quoted one of my posts where I didn't actually mention the word stagnation.0 -

I was kinda hoping you had the ability to remember both of your posts.
Ah well.Stagnation doesn't work well for either bears or bulls, but for those of us who are quietly enjoying our homes and feverishly paying down our mortgages, it's perfect.
