How long off is reasonable for a Broken Finger?

Question as is says on the tin, have a member of staff of sick for 4 weeks now....

Depends on what they do. Concert pianist may have a problem.0

What is their role and could they realistically do it (albeit maybe slower) with a broken finger? Even something like typing could be hard if they can't use one of the fingers they are used to using. Trouble is until the doctor says they are fit for work you have to put up with it, not least because your insurance won't be happy with medically unfit staff being at work.Adventure before Dementia!0

about an hour to go to the hospital and have it strapped up, then back to work. It's a broken finger, they've got 7 more!0

i would say the could do it, and would be slower but that i can cope with. its more the fact he had two weeks holiday, broke his finger on holiday then has currently had 4 weeks off sick and it looks like he's going for another 4.The futures bright the future is Ginger0 -
but they may have broken more then one bone in thier finger lol
i think they are chancing it to be fair lol ...
