Evans Halshaw shifting the goal posts

Evans Halshaw are the pitts, they are the cold, dead rats asss of the car world.
The "service" I got from the Leeds branch back in January was 1970s in style with some insults added in.
I would NEVER use them again.

Hmm yeah Evans Halshaw's Vauxhall dealership in Edinburgh tried to rip me off once.. needless to say I've not gone back.
If you can get out of the deal with EH, get to Perth I've heard good things about these guys
Well as good as a car dealership can be...:exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!0 -

After a long conversation with the dealer's general manager they've agreed to take the car in and service it for free and put two new tyres on the car.
we are to take delivery of our new Kuga on 1st September and they are going to honour the original deal and work with Ford to sort out the shortfall.
They've given us a courtesy car to take on holiday for the weekend (A nice new sporty focus) so that will take the save a good 1000 miles from being added onto my car.
From what we've been told Ford Credit have put a hold on our account and next week we're to make 2 payments for the car that would have been our normal monthly payments.
When we left in the courtesy car we noticed that a set of house keys and an inhaler were left in the car so we went back in to drop them off and seemed to interrupt the staff (including our original salesman who is to have nothing to do with the deal) discussing the deal and laughing about it or at least that's how it seemed.
Now we're away on holiday tomorrow and will not be dealing with any of it until we return on Wednesday so I will post updates then. Thank you all for the helpful suggestions!0 -
Well the car's been serviced and two new tyres put on the car and everything seems to be going good for getting the new car on 1st of September... Fingers Crossed!0
