Has anyone encountered this problem...we got the children a dvd player each for their bedrooms ( bush slimline ) which seem to work fine until they try and play the little mermaid dvd with this disney fast play...it gets all the way through the trailers then it does nothing, ive been into main menu which takes you straight to play but still it wont run...tried the dvd on the player downstairs and it works fine so i am completely stumped...any help would be appreciated thanks

Have you tried selecting the menu and going straight to the 1st chapter of the film instead of going through the trailers? may work?0

I've had a search and couldn't find anything of help I'm afraid.
Here is the Disney DVD faq page, I did notice that the Little Mermaid is a dual layer disc? on the faq it says that could be the problem (some dvd's cant play dual layer) I suppose trying another dual layer disc would count that out.
