OK so the existing one says you have used up your limit, even thought you haven't deposited any new money this financial tax year? (since April 6th)0

OK well thats silly. Thats why the branch advisor can't open one because the system says no.
http://www.lloydstsb.com/contact_us/complaints_procedure.aspAlternatively, write to us at: Lloyds TSB, 2 Brindley Place, Birmingham B1 2AB.
Write to the above address:
Dear Sir/Madam,
REFERENCE: Account Number + Sort Code
May (exact date if you can remember!) this year I transferred a previous ISA from Barclays to yourselves. I did this through the ISA transfer process. However, it seems as though the account says I have used up this years allowance when in fact I have not started to use any of my 2011/2012 allowance, nor had I before the transfer.
Because of this I am unable to deposit any new money into my existing Lloyds ISA.
Please could this be rectified,
Yours Faithfully,
bobpat.
Something like this would be good. Or if you are feeling brave go into branch and explain the situation like I have in the letter to see if they can fix it there.
The most probable reason is either
a) Lloyds system screwed something up
b) When Barclays transferred they stated that the transfer for part of this years allowance
If it's the latter, it may take a little more time to fix.
In the mean time someone might come up with a better solution.0 -
Or just open a new one online or over the phone try a different advisor. Can I find out my credit score? You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)0
