Free Text Messages from PC Warning

I have just used the website www dot text4free dot net to try to send a text message. The whole page implies that the service is free however this may not be the case.

I sent a message and as I completed the message I was presented with a registration page for a subscription service. I cancelled the page and checked an hour or so later with the recipient of the text message who did not receive it.

I suspect that the text message is not sent until you complete the registration but I can't be sure.

Be very careful if you decide to use this site.
