Switching from AOL....

I'm planning to switch my calls/broadband package from AOl (not sure where to yet) and this is going to sound like a stupid question, but what do I need to do? Do I need to get a MAC code from AOL, or do I just cancel then switch to new company (on first inspection, probably BT)....

If you just cancel then you'll incur a £25 cease charge and have a gap in service. Get your MAC, then give it to BT (if you must). Don\t forget to cancel your DD after AOL have taken the final payment. No free lunch, and no free laptop
