Switching from AOL....

I'm planning to switch my calls/broadband package from AOl (not sure where to yet) and this is going to sound like a stupid question, but what do I need to do? Do I need to get a MAC code from AOL, or do I just cancel then switch to new company (on first inspection, probably BT)....

If you just cancel then you'll incur a £25 cease charge and have a gap in service. Get your MAC, then give it to BT (if you must). Don\t forget to cancel your DD after AOL have taken the final payment.
