  • Hi Everybody,

I am going to add £106 to my total today. I have been watching my gas and electricity usage really well over the last couple of months so we used less.

Checked my account two weeks ago, meter readings all up to date and we had a credit balance of £206 so I asked for £106 of it back as we both thought it was best to leave some in but there was too much credit on my account.

£44 profit from a MS company that I completely forgot I was due!! Need to get my spreadsheets up to date and start keeping track again! Although is a nice surprise when I check my bank! In fact actually I'm going to add another £10 onto that as the reimbursement for one of the jobs was for shopping that I'd had to get anyway.

I'm also dead chuffed with my roadkill finds the last couple of days. Found £2 when we were on a day out at the weekend and there was a little train ride thing around the park, and as we were waiting for the next one to go I saw that there was 2 nice shiny £1 coins on a seat, that must have fallen out of someone's pocket :)
Naturally I did then walk up and down the rest of the train, just to check :D

Then was in a convenience store yesterday doing a mystery shop, and as I was on my way out I noticed another £1 on the floor (not so shiny this time!!) and a 5p!! So £3.05 roadkill in 2 days - woohoo!!

£3 LVs on the doormat yesterday and did another Pinecone survey on Sunday so should have another £3 soon.
Did a little count up of my voucher stash and there's almost £250 in there altogether :D:D:D

  • Muppet - I'm going to be in the same position next month, as it's very unlikely I'll have any extra OT available (just 5 or six days with extra hours available due to our peak period at a guess)

I've been trying to debate whether to still do £10 or drop it to something lower ... I'm veering between £7.50 & £5 atm ... I just feel that I'd struggle to keep going if I opted for less .. but then I'm not sure I'll manage to reach target even at £5 without the OT ... (where's that shrug smilie when ya want it ?)

Hmmmmm, will have to continue to ponder for a few more days before deciding ... ummm, you know - I used to be undecided ... but now I'm not so sure ..... :rotfl::rotfl:

    G'Angel xx

G'Angel - I think that I am going to say £5 for next month, and if I don't meet that target, perhaps I'll reduce the target the following month. I think I really will struggle with £5 a day next month, but hopefully that will make me try harder :)

Last month (first on the challenge), I optimistically went for £10 and did not come close, so I have gone for £5/day this month and hope that I can achieve that and go for £7.50/day next month.

I know its been mentioned on previous threads, but i thought i'd remention incase any newbies were unaware that vouchers & coupons sell very well on ebay! a lot of surveys payout in vouchers, so you could get almost the face value, sometime more than face value if your not sure what to do with them all.

Te$co clubcard vouchers, sell for well over their face value because of the deals exchange thing, i haven't yet tried this one though....Has anyone else?

MONKET NUT...thats a lot of vouchers!! well done, what do you do with all yours?....your post is what reminded me of selling them on.

    Hi all :hello:

Made 24.52 on ebay and got another few items ending at tea time with a few bids- nothing huge mind but all adds up.

Also saved £31 on this months electricity DD as it was dropped from £58 to £22 as we were in a bit of credit, so that's gone in my little pot of lovelyness.

    sweet x

    hi all
Thanks for your support. My landlady came back to me & will lower the rent - so I hope to scrape by. Tbh the thought of finding a deposit & hiring a van to move was really worrying me.
I will have to keep doing this £10 a day challenge. But on a more positive note I do have a focus group paying me £55 & another ms this week. I also listed lots on ebay & am already on £90 through bids... so hope to have a tidy sum by the end of the month.
I am lucky to have great pals and family... the suppport through MSE is also ace... so a BIG THANKS to all of you too!!
    Hugs xx
