Oh no, I wish I'd spotted that earlier. We went to Tesco today and spent £47. Well, £44 as I had a £3 off till spit from when I bought milk in the week! Annoyingly I thought I also had a £6 of £30 at Sainsburys so had planned to use them both at Tesco, and get a £30 shop down to £21,(although we ended up spending more than that anyway!) but then spotted that the Sainsburys one wasn't valid till next week. Annoying really as when I got to the till I thought I should have just tried it anyway as I doubt the guy at the checkout would have noticed, it looked more like he was putting all his energies into staying awake, and as it's a Sainsburys one I'm sure their system wouldn't have known it wasn't in date. But then I realised I'd only gone and bloody left it at home :(
Wish I'd seen the TCB offer as even if there had been any issues with cashback tracking or paying etc (which touch wood I don't think I've ever had any probs with them so far but it's never guaranteed) I still would have saved a tenner or so if I'd had 'spent' an extra £3.
Not like me to miss these things :(

£3 win from lottery tonight. Got some eBay items ending tomorrow. Only have one 99p bid up to now but 16 hours to go. Need to take advantage of a day off work and free listings tomorrow if I am to get a little closer to my target. Still got a long way to go but the way I look at it is any money I make, no matter how small, is more than I would have had before.
  • is it still free listings on ebay today?

  • Has anyone tried maximising on the cashback/bingo sites? I have been on two so far and at the moment am £210 up plus I will get £40 cashback when they pay up. I suppose people just have to be careul not to get hooked...that would be a danger. At the moment I am back to zero balance on both accounts and won't pay any more in but there are free games that give you a chance to uup your balance a little for free. Anyway with what has been paid so far, me ebay listings and a refund at IKEA I am at £746!!! I have £70 winnings to add but about £40 paypal fees to take off as well. Amazing!!!
Mortgage (interest only :() 244,000; Credit card 12,500; Overdraft 2,100; Student loan 5,000; Overpaid tax credits:mad: 2,500 Total debts...much too much! 266,220 :embarasse
