Isn't it more for things which are borderline warranty issues or just out of warranty, for which you would be wanting a goodwill gesture from the manufacturer? If its a clear warranty issue I would have thought it would be fixed regardless...Thanks to shaun and Bill. I appreciate the theory. I'd still be interested to see an actual example of a manufacturer accepting independent servicing as valid for a substantial warranty claim.0 -
Nitrogen (N2) is used in aircraft tyres by law as it is an inert gas (fire retardant.) Can't imagine why you would need it in a car tyre, apart from the fact they want to rip you off.
Luckily there are numerous sites all over the country that offer a cheaper option that performs almost identically despite only being 78% nitrogen.0
