Perhaps a question for the plumbers & experienced DIY’ers out there; can I sensibly bend radiator feed pipes by 2 or 3mm to fit?

I have just purchased a new radiator for our sitting room, which is now hung on the wall and connected at one end with a new TRV fitted – no problem. The other feed pipe with lock shield valve does not quite meet and is offset horizontally by about two or three mm only.

I am nervous about using any force to bend the pipe to fit as thyy run into the concrete floor and I am aware that copper & concrete is not a good combination and the pipes maybe fragile.

Can anyone advise me on the best way to tackle this, I would prefer not to start draining down & soldering but appreciate this maybe the only way forward.

I am guessing an experienced plumber may just apply some heat and bend the pipe as the gap is small?

Thanks all

adjustable radiator tail valves from screwfix.0

thanks all, its the front to back allignment which needs to be adjusted, the offset from the wall, not the left to right orientation if that makes sense.
feed pipes are about 120mm in height and come straight out of the floor. Pipe is the older non- micro pipe type.0 -

Shouldnt make a difference if you have enough clearance around the pipe coming through the concrete & enough height. Not Again0 -
