I going to India . We have always depended on Drivers to take us around, but now we are thinking of car hair rental for 14 days so we can just take our own time to explore India. Any suggestions?[/FONT]

I would not care to drive in India myself, but if you are dead (!) set on it ask the same question on IndiaMike.

Ditto. When my hubby worked there his company would not allow him to drive. Really think you should stick with driver.

The last car i hired there had a short back and sides,and a pig tail hanging from the rear view mirror...............but a taxi ride can be quite hairy.
