Do you play the lottery?

  • Well I do play the lottery £1 on wednesday and £1 on saturday.I don't smoke or drink, buy expensive jewellery, wear make up, rarely buy new clothes.Yes I am on low wages, live in council rented. All my earnings go to bills, food and debts. So call it a waste of money if you like but it is a little ray of hope in my life.

  • I'm another one who does the lottery every week. I don't drink or smoke, rarely go out and all my money goes on bills and the kids. I know the odds of winning are terrible, but it's my little ray of hope that I might just get lucky and win.

I know someone who won £150,000 so I know it can be done. I'm just hoping that it might be me one day. I know it probably won't be, but if I don't spend that £2 a week I'll never know :o

Nope, put it on about 3 times when it first started but never have since, wouldn't know how to now. Occasionally DP puts the Euromillions I think he said it's called on but that is all in our house.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Not regularly at all.

Occasionally I just feel 'inspired' by some numbers and spend a pound but ONLY if I have some change kicking around.

Got too much else to pay for otherwise!

I just think a Pound buys a dream - no big deal for me personally, if it's not more than that.

oops, forgot about the work one! we do a bonus ball one, so if our number comes up as the bonus ball we get the £49. a lot more likely to win than actually playing the lottery methinks

I play it on Sat and Wed every week and do the same numbers. You never know someone has to win it:p I am also very realistic about the fact that I probably won't win it but I don't see any harm in it.

  • I do a pound every Saturday. Mainly because we use the same numbers every week, and its like a habit we now cannot break........just in case.
Because I AM that person who's numbers come up the first week they did not buy a ticket. I promise!

I've only done it once or twice in the early days, don't plan to do it ever again.
