Got an email from a company called activeware who are offering unlimited dial up for 4.17 a month. It looks like you have to pay for 12 months in advance (50). It says it is only on for 48 hours and then will go up to 60 a year. The link is

Make sure you tell all your friends about it! Hurry! An offer like this only comes once!
Hope some of you find it of use.

On the website it states provided by Hauka on the activeware dial up faqs.
I think Hauka are company behind Gio Internet, which I read in a thread were going into liquidation. (gio not hauka).
I signed up with Gio Internet last year on similar package 80% of the time there are no problems but I have lost access to internet on several times once for over a week. Also when I started up there were quite a few problems with Username and password which took about a week and a half to sort out.
Cust Service very poor with Gio so no idea what it will be like with activeware.
But if I get another month out of them I think I will have got me moneys worth.Examine what is said, not him who speaks.0 -
I'm extremely wary of this offer for two reasons - firstly, I found about about it simply because they spammed me with their email.
Secondly if it is the company behind Gio Internet, I'd advise everyone to steer well clear. They are simply the worst ISP I've ever come across - in terms of connectivity, customer service, reliability... well, everything really! In the end the only way I got my problems with them resolved was to take them to court. Ultimately very satisfying, but I'd rather not have had to go through all the bother.0 -
"You will have received this link from a friend or directly from us if you are a current/previous customer on our network, this SECRET package is through recommendation only and cannot be access from the main site. Sign-up now before its all gone!"
This is some blurb from their site.
Remember it is a SECRET package so they don`t really want anyone to know about it.0 -

Hi all,
99% certain this and GioInternet are/were from the same stable. The e-mail (received mine today too) is so suspiciously similar (identical even!) to the £50 deal I received last May from Gio. Even the daily price increases!
I was an existing GioInternet customer last year and signed up (with heart in mouth) for their £50/year deal. I have to admit that I've not really had much bother - and I have certainly had my £50's worth.
However, with the controversy surrounding Gio at the moment, I really think you should check your facts carefully before signing up to anything.

I got one of those Nigerian fraud spam messages at last, but I wouldn't quote it here, so I found this instead

I have same problem. Had my monthly payment taken 3 times this month, I am only connected to the service through a back channel I forced them to give me when they had technical problems a while back, my actual account has vanished. I can't get through to any customer service number, or the hauku number or the head office number for hauku anyone elseAbissmal service..... | Author:
