orange and discount conflict
Some of you may remember this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3203648
orange is still offering the £20 discount but when we went in today with the same documentation as before they refused to process it. We were told we need a payslip with an employee number on it and that they would get the sack if they used the payslip we gave them despite accepting it previously.
Just wondering what the solution is, we are not given any other kind of pay slip so i get the feeling they don't know what their talking about. We also had an I.D. card with the employee number on but they said it had to be on the payslip.
We are going to try a different branch tomorrow but if anyone working for orange can shed some light on this would be much appreciated.

Did you not say in that thread that "all they need is a payslip!"? As far as I know they have been always asking for payslips.
What kind of council is it that pay the salary/wages without payslips?0 -
If you don't get a paper payslip do you not get them by email or have a company website you can login to to print one?
Even if you do, whether they would accept one that didn't look like a traditional payslip is another matter.0
