Perhaps thats because you might not have the problem that that stuff is designed to get rid of and that you might just have a physical obstruction in your stack!

Personally I wouldn't give you a refund unless you could prove to me that it didn't get rid of grease and hair.

    Cheers

After waiting until 12.00 in fact 13.00 I phoned Dyno and reported a no show, a very disinterested person told me they didn't have my job on the records so no-one was scheduled to come out. She said she could book me in and the charge would be £91 but if any pressure water equipment was used it would be £145. I declined her offer and checked the web for a local company.

I generally always use someone recommended or local and I'm more annoyed with myself for not doing so on this occasion. They are coming out tomorrow afternoon so another smelly night, although I did have a bath yesterday at a friends :)
  • It makes me laugh the amount of money people waste on these drain cleaning products. In most cases it's easier to just take the trap apart and clean it out as in most cases it's in the trap where the problem is. No product will ever get rid of some of the stuff i've found lodged in the trap!
  • all traps are clean, theyve been taken apart.

its probably the magic rimblock bunging up the u bend in the sink.

Very pleasant local guy came out and cleared the blockage in the pipes for me, charged £85, happy bunny now :)
  • OK so dynarod has been out....

They were later in the day but within time limit.

The guy came in slightly bemused and didnt know what had to be done as the office hadnt passed on what I wanted doing.

Told him what I had tried and expected a water jetting...didnt get one. :(

However he used the electric drain snake for a couple of minutes and stood shaking my head thinking it wouldnt do anything. Few mins later I was apologising for doubting his methods and the sink was completely free of gunk. Whirlpool now!

    And only £80

Wish I did this years ago :T:T:T:T

Fair play dynorod. Credit where its due.
