Need help with a Motorola V300
My mum has given my daughter her old V300 and it has just been sat in the drawer for months. My son has had a new phone for Xmas and so his old payg sim (Tesco) is going spare with credit. So I charged up the V300 (T-mobile) and put in the Tesco sim, turned the phone on and it came up with a subsidy unlocking pin request. Did not have the book to hand and so left it alone. Kids came along and tried all kinds of numbers and it seems to have locked the phone. Tried the sim card in his old phone but when I put it into the V300 it tells me to contact service provider.
Can anyone help.

The V300 is locked to T-Mobile. To use another operators SIM, it needs unlocking at a market stall, as free codes are not available for that phone. A Virgin SIM will work in it though, often available free or cheap. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Thanks for that, the phone my son has got is a Virgin phone, I will try his sim card in it to see if it works. In the meantime she can use his old phone and sim to use up the credit.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
