Hi... not sure if this is the right place to post but i hope so...
My father in law - very keen golfer suddenly died a couple of years ago and left his wife a set of taylor made golf clubs. He brought them from the USA, where they cost a small fortune (just under £2k). I have been trying to sell them for her but as i havent got a clue i would like to ask someone's advice - how much they are worth, where is the best place to sell etc.
I hope someone can help and advice.... Many thanks

it may be worth saying that a couple of clubs were used twice and most of them are brand new - unused.
ps. i know that they are probably not worth anywhere near 2k
thank you for advice
ps. i am not trying to sell or advertisie the clubs here - i am after an advice - where to get them valued. thank you0 -

As they are custom made you may have problems as they may have been specifically taylored to your FIL swing and style.
Have you a local golf club who may be able to advise? I would try and get as much information as possible before you sell so you know what you have.'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

Taylor Made is a brand of golf club not a description of the fitting process.
The problem with selling them on Ebay is that there are so many fakes about that nobody trusts it, so the prices tend to be quite low.
I've bought a full set of Callaway Clubs off Golfbidder (www.golfbidder.co.uk) in the past and they have a very good reputation. The idea is that they buy secoundhand clubs off people, check that they are authentic and then sell them either via auction or buy it now.
They will buy your clubs off you. You just send them in, they assess them and then tell you what they're worth depending on condition and specification and subject to agreement send you a cheque. You'll probably get less than if you sold them privately, a bit like part-ex'ing a car, but at least you know you'll be dealing with a reputable buyer.0
