Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
I've decided to tackle the paperwork mountain. After googling how long I can keep things I'm going for
    • 12 months approxiately for bills
    • 6 years for tax related & bank statements
    • No recipts unless needed for
      • checking next bank statement
      • needed for warrenty/guarentee ;)
Hoping this will mean that I'll be able to get rid of alot of paper. I've got the shredder set up but I don't want to disturb DD watching "Over the hedge" ;) Also got the scanner set up ready for past credit card statements that I want to keep copies off ;)

Should really get on. OH leaves work in about 30 minutes

God I`m knackered and I aint done much so far.I`ve only made 1/2 dozen bread buns, one load of washing done and hung out.Washed a few breakfast and lunch pots.Made endless cups of tea,a whole weeks worth.
Started my deep clean of my bathroom though,
washed toilet, basin, bath out.Cleaned the jaccuzzi jets and pipes.Washed all the tiles from top to bottom(whole bathroom is tiled)All I`ve got left to do it wash the skirting boards/door and wash the floor then I`m done in there.

If that's your definition of "aint done much" I don't want to be around when you really get going

I'm not doing so well today.

My cold has got more stinky, the baby has been rather grizzly for a good part of the day, and i can't take anything for my cold or cough cos of the breastfeeding.

Don't sweat it, Michelle, you're doing the best for your baby and the housework can wait. It's not a competition! Just look after yourself and the baby.

You can take paracetamol or ibuprofen for your cold. Make sure that it isn't turning into a chest infection as that can really drag you down. Get along to the Dr if it doesn't clear up in a few days. You can have antibiotics if it is, the only side effect my two had was slightly dodgy nappies (fun!). I am speaking from experience - I breast fed my two for almost 3 years.

Finally finished my bathroom, although I do need to rinse the bath and the basin back out as I`ve used them both for rinsing the cleaning cloths out and storing stuff in.But it`ll only be a quick whizz round.

NOTE to myself: BUY A BUCKET!!

Really pleased with the bathroom, looks like new again apart from the stain inground into one of the tiles around the loo.I`m sure I can hide that with a toilet mat.

I wont be doing Moggins list tomorrow as I have to play catch up on the things I still aint done today. But the night is young so I may get most of it done before I go to bed.

Just don't do it - put it all away unironed and see if anybody notices! :D
(Or you could do it in front of the TV - Celeb Big Brother and Desperate Housewives will certainly make the ironing go quicker!)

Well done everyone, michelle you are allowed to have a day off if you are not feeling well.

And for those of you who have already done your bathrooms, naughty girls but you are in for a day off tomorrow as that was supposed to be tomorrows list.

Don't forget, please pace yourselves, this isn't a race to see who can finish first. This is a marathon where you can reward yourselves with a lighter workload and some me time. There is no end to cleaning so don't think you have to rush it. By the end of the week we should be able to see the wood for the trees and be able to move on to some of the jobs we tend to put off through lack of time.

I'll be back later to post tomorrows list. I may come up with a nice evil job for those of you who are getting ahead :D

Argh! I've been in from work for half an hour and all I've done is catch up on the thread!

It's a good job I'd done some serious cleaning this holiday otherwise I'd be behind already and would start considering giving up. Not sure how to keep up when working too! Any ideas?

I cooked dinner in the SC last night so off now to heat some up and scoff, I'm also waiting for someone to collect after a post on freecycle.

    Then I will:

    clean kitchen floor
1 hour on paperwork for school tomorrow. Kids back!

Collecting my BF from the airport at 930 so not much planned. Naughty I know.
Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...
