Don't worry, now christmas is over moggins is back cracking the whip :D

I'll be checking in every morning to start the day and give some further directions if needed. No more getting tangled up, every day is a new day with a fresh project and a fresh start. Whatever bits of a room don't get done will have to wait until we tackle that room again.

  • Think I might have a go this year. I find it difficult to get motivated over housework- food is more my thing :rotfl:

Just one thing though I looked at the Flylady site and I was  what's this about wearing your shoes  ?

But, I could definitely do with a kick up the bum in the cleaning dept :D

Thriftlady don't worry about the Flylady website, a lot of people find it too scary which is why I started the Flylady challenges on here. The thing about shoes is so you can't put anything off, like "I can't put the rubbish out as I don't have my shoes on, I'll do it later"

Plus if you are dressed to your shoes it makes you feel more prepared to work. If you're slobbing in your jammies you really don't feel like working do you?

So although my trainers are elasicated rather than lace up, they are on my feet and the only thing that is now stopping me going outdoors is the torrential rain that blows in whenever I open the door.

I'll be watching and lurking and joining in where I can.

Decorations are coming down tomorrow and I will be getting back into the swing on Tuesday when everyone is back to work at normal times - including me.

I think I'll have a go at this in 2007 as well.

Been flying on and off for a year...but still haven't come to terms with wearing shoes! I leave them by the front and back doors so that I don't have any excuse not to put the rubbish (or whatever) out.

    Would love to join in!

That's probably where I go wrong, but my thinking has been that I can't just clear off out before working if I have to get dressed properly first. Now my oh has bought me a pair of slippers that have outdoor soles, I at least feel that I can pop out to shed, bins etc., as I always walk about barefoot - hate wearing shoes unless I absolutely have to.
