Excuse the bad joke of a thread title, couldn't help myself...
I bought a double layer airbed, made up of two separate double airbeds, zipped together from Amazon marketplace around the start of June.
First time I used it the bottom layer deflated every night. Emailed them when I got back from the camping trip, they agreed to collect it and test it. After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing, they eventually came back to me and said it wasn't faulty, there was no hole, but they had replaced the valves.
So, I took it camping again, and, once again, the same thing happened. Rang them when I got back, they told me to email them, which I did, asking for a new mattress (not a repair of the original), or a refund.
Just heard back from them and they are saying I will have to pay for them to collect it, and that they will then test it!
I have replied saying that as it is faulty I want a refund, and that I will not pay for them to collect it as per my statutory rights...is this right??
Any advice on how best to deal with this would be much appreciated!!!
Thanks

Thats correct. If it's within 6 months of purchase they have to prove the fault isn't 'inherent' and you are not liable for any costs relating to this unless they can PROVE that you caused the problem. (at which point I believe they can make a charge)I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0
