Still no refund from Bid TV and as it turns out I am being scammed by them to some extent.

I decided that seeing as bid tv are unable to send me a replacement as they are 'out of stock' (even though they still have loads of these mixers listed on their site) I would buy the same mixer from ebay from a seller called 'ocean_treetrading'. I paid £8 more than I paid for the item on bid tv even though it is listed on ebay as having a damaged box as I figured well £8 isnt too much extra and I really dont want to deal with bid tv again as their service was so poor and they fibbed to me about the item being out of stock.

How wrong am I! When I got my paypal reciept it turns out that I am being billed by 'Sit up ltd' and a quick google confirms that the same company as bid tv (sit up ltd) own 'ocean tree trading'. So bid tv who told me that the courier couldnt deliver me my mixer because 'the box was damaged' have just sold me the same mixer with the damaged box on ebay for £8 more than I was charged on their own site for one in perfect condition!

Now bid tv have my origianl £80 which they still havnt refunded and the £88 I just paid on ebay for a replacement. Im feeling like a very unlucky lady :(
lol i do find it hard to believe

I like watching Bid-up TV, I never buy anything I just enjoy the sight of shopping channel Rejects trying to flog poor quality electronics, god awful ceramics and jewelry that Mr T would consider tacky

I've heard it had occasional bargains but I cant say I've ever seen one

My family use them, but I agree the P&p charges make many items too expensive.

Does Bid TV still sell your details to "discount" companies where for an annual fee of £80 you get access to a special website offering up-to 80% off various goods?

I remember watching one of these channels when they had £1 auctions, the presenter kept hinting the next item would be going to drop to a £1 and it was some really cheap looking pendant, the price came up at £200 or something similar and they all got sold within a few seconds before the price dropped to anything, the presenters face dropped and he kept looking over the camera at someone or other then announced everyone shouldn't have bid so fast :D so they where going to send them out at £1 which was pretty lucky as i doubt anyone would have paid for them.

haha I got some right good old tat for a quid, well worked out under a tenner...3 gnomes that light up, 2 stone (yeah right) bird baths...solar light things...the best though was a set of 3 suitcases...was chuffed with that!:rotfl:The rest I sold to the inlaws and my mums birthday..she got the gnomes!lol

oh remember those warrior ornaments that were blue and red..omg I bought the whole set!lol...they are up the loft!:o
