Thanks guys I was thinking Bios too but cant find anything online to prove it.
I have not got a suitable machine tonige to try another.
I have tried "manage" and again it reports back 128MB..0 -
I'm 99% sure its the BIOS.
If I go ahead will it work the same but just with 130GB instead of 160GB.
If they then put out a new BIOS (fingers crossed for Vista) will it then see the extra disk space or will I have to repartition the drive?
Would this work as an alternative. Partition it into a 100GB & 60GB drive on a machine that can see the space, would my pc then be able to see the two smaller spaces?
Thanks, I'm really a bit lost as to my best option now..0
