I'm another one staying in too. The kids will be here so no booze for me, just us and the tv. No doubt I'll be lurking on the MSE boards as usual
2006 has been grim, so I'm really hoping that 2007 will be a lot better.0 -

Another DFW staying in, with a bottle of bubbly, a big packet of doritos and dips.
NYE is over-rated IMO, when i used to go out (a long time ago) i'd usually end up very drunk or depressed with only a hanover to look forward too. Plus you always get some creepy p*$*ed up guy stalking you just before midnight hankering for a new years kiss uuurrrggh!!
Happy new year to everyone.

We're staying in too, we were invited out to two parties, but the first one was cancelled as the couple split up and the other was cancelled as the host has a sickness bug! Can't say I'm really bothered, I much prefer to stay in this time of year as it seems like too much hassle and money to go out, and I need time to reflect and start thinking about what I want to do in the coming year!
I have a bottle of wine and boyfriend has a few beers, plus the Christmas leftover choccies, and we will play console games or watch DVD's.
Happy New Year to all MSE'ers! _party_0 -
Im staying in with DD all cosy on the sofa snuggled up watching a film, Im refusing to pay £30 to get into a local pub  and Im coming down with that sickness bug and trying to keep everything down0

We are staying in again, hopefully. We like to stay at home but last year we ended up in A & E with one of our sons who had an accident. We saw the new year in there. Luckily we'd not had a drink or it would have been a nightmare.
So hopefully a quiet night in, until the lads and their lasses get back. WIll have a house full tonite but some are in work early tomorrow so we'll be on taxi duty, lol
here's hoping for a wonderful dfw 2007,
love and best wishes to you all
