I'm staying in - Hubby and children are in France and I can't be bothered to find anywhere to go!

Will have a soak in the bath and some indulgence by watching the DVDs that I want, rather than those that everyone else wants to watch!

Have a good evening everyone, whether you are partying or not!

  • well we are staying in this year.....

even though our biker club are having a bash in a secluded place in the middle of the woods:D

the main reason.... the money we have left...has got to last us another 2 weeks until the next pay day..as hubby had 3 weeks pay..

.....plus we would have had to put the dog in kennels for 2 days.....as there is no way we would get home to see to him.....

so we will all be snuggled up on the settee.. with the dog trying to get most of the settee to himself.......

and polishing off the dregs of the christmas nibbles....

and yes....i will be back and fo.... on mse...... my second home.....

happy new year everyone... ..and lets hope...that we all have a good positive one....with less debt.....:money:

I'll be here, watching a DVD with popcorn/nibbles with the kids and probably DP who is going to work at about 9pm. Then they will hopefully go to bed when he goes to work. Busiest night of the year for taxi drivers and has to make the most of it as January we tend to struggle as it's so quiet. Then it'll be me, the dogs (oldest one who hates fireworks) and the internet. Will watch the London fireworks on TV and sing to myself. Then put up with drunken calls from family and friends. Been years since I last went out New Year and I don't miss it, especially remembering what I have done :) Sit and reflect on the year gone by, set my goals and sort my diary out.

Oh and the MSE party of course :) Alcohol free for me of course as I have the children (won't drink when I am the only one home to look after them) and haven't drank for a year because I just haven't fancied it, even in a pub, so no reason why I should start now!
One day I might be more organised...........

    Happy new year all :)

We'll be staying in - will probably stay up late, but just snuggled under a duvet playing on the consoles or something. I still can't shake this cold - think I actually feel worse today than yesterday :(

Hubby has been brilliant - taking time out from gaming to wait on me since I don't want to move. He's a bit disappointed that I'm unable to concentrate on anything - we were going to do a new years raid in our favourite MMO and he was excited about that, but he's being nice, bless him :)

  • i'm not going out.

I'm doing nibbles that I've been stockpiling from the reduced section/ 4 for £5 at Asda, so it will be lots of those and a big chunk of chocolate cheesecake (£1 for a huge one from ASDA!)

I've bought the 90's Trivial Pursuit and we are going to play that. I'll put the New Year party on the radio. At midnight, there will be an amazing view from where I live of all the fireworks. I can see right across the town and into the hills, and it is a fabulous view.

I used to go out, but be-grudge now this fashion of charging £5 to get into a normal pub. For the last two years, we have gone to my old pub, and left about 11, busy and just not much fun anymore........(or am I getting old???!!)
  • Yep, staying in. Me and OH have not been out for NYE for about 6 years. Not because of money or anything like that...just because we can't be bothered!!
Much prefer staying at home, with each other, and a bottle of bubbly.
  • I'll be staying in tonight too!!! :D

Can't be @rsed really!! Boyf might go out for a few and I will go and pick him up. Will be watching DVDs/telly with my bro.

    Happy New Year all!!
