  • Thank you for all the very kind posts - I'm sad to tell you that there was nothing that the vet could do for senior cat on Friday - she thought that the tumour was probably pressing on her spine and poor little cat was too old and weak for further treatment to be attempted.
She is now sleeping alongside her brother in our special corner of the garden reserved for all beloved pets. I miss her very much but I have had a lot of comfort from your messages - she wasn't just an animal, she was like a child.

    Thank you all again x x x

Grey queen - can I add Boots body mud from their Spa range to extinct stuff. I brought my empty jar to them yesterday to get more and the assistant asked me when I'd bought it. I told her in the Jan sales - she said it must have been the previous Jan! Probably right I bought a load of it at next to nothing as it's great for sore joints. Now they don't sell it at all. Grrrr.
Pea sticks are now hanging behind radiators with emergency blankets (tin foil things) glued to them.

If you use CTRL + "-" to make text smaller it makes the advert fit in the left hand margin on the site you referenced. I think there's another more common way of making text smaller but I don't know whether that works because I can't use it on my computer (and cos I can't use it have forgotten what it is).

I only discovered this very recently so don't know if it works on all such sites and, even where it does, it's not always useful because the resulting text may be too small to be read easily.

It's a really annoying problem that's becoming more and more frequent - I suppose we should complain to the websites concerned but I just don't have the energy.

    Thanks for that:T

Was trying - and failing - to read an article on that website yesterday because of that problem.

I have sent him an email twice telling him "Nice site - shame about the ad problem" and asking him to fix it and I suspect he's not much more computer-literate than I am and doesnt know how to. That or he is such a "focused" type of person on his particular interests that he doesnt wish to "bother his head" about making sure peeps can actually read ALL of his website:cool:

My condolences as well on your loss. Take care.

I'm trying to picture how this idea would look.

I've never really been able to figure out how to get some "silver foil stuff" behind my radiators - as they dont have the "ability" to angle forward from the wall and those bits attaching them to the wall flummox me getting in the way.

Is there any chance of a photo or diagram or summat - so I can picture it better?

Anyone care to take pity on a "visual" who needs to "picture" things - rather than read words - sometimes in order to "get it"...:)
