Exactly. Go on ebay and spend £150+ more than its actually worth. Thats REAL moneysaving!

If you can tell us where to find one then mate, we'd be most grateful.

I ordered from Amazon when they had stock. Since then I've seen posts here (+ live stock) at WH Smith, Game, John Lewis and Toys R Us.
  • Trouble is though, when you've got two babies, its next to impossible to stay on the computer all day checking various companies stock levels. When I get the chance to come on here to check, i've always missed it.

Thanks yehehehes for the recommended website but I've found http://www.wiisearcher.com/buying.aspx?r=en-gb to be a bit misleading in the stock availability side of things, as the places don't actually have any stock in.

http://www.wiifind.co.uk/buywii.html?gclid=CKLhyrWTw4kCFUNJMAod0DxAOA tends to be more reliable although I've never seen the shops actually change off the 'out of stock' status!

You're having a laugh! As the guy behind WiiSearcher, I can tell you that we are checking the stores we cover VERY frequently. I don't think you'll find any other sites with as wide coverage or more up to date.

WiiFind on the other hand has about 5 links, most of which aren't even selling the Wii.
  • Thought I'd add a few (slightly smug) comments to this thread. I managed to order two Wii's on Dec 22nd from Amazon - just luck that I checked on the site again fully expecting them to still be out of stock. I got the package with Wii Sports for £179.99 each. I paid for express delivery for one of them so I got it on the 23rd Dec & it got wrapped up for Christmas & the other one came by normal delivery and turned up on the 27th.

I've just sold the second console for £265 on Ebay. Wish I'd bought all the stock Amazon had at that time (think there were about 6 left when I got my two) as people are paying stupid money for something that will be widely available in a month or two's time.

For those of you still trying to get a Wii, good luck! It will be worth it as even from just a few hours mucking around with Wii Sports, I've got totally hooked! The wireless controllers are great fun and it's surprising how much energy you use swinging your arm around!

    Cheers,
    Bod
