Getting you hands on a Wii!
Comments

Hello,
Having spent the afternoon at a friends house playing the Wii..... myself and wife have decided we would like one.
Any up date on when these may be available or anywhere we can pre-order without paying over the top. I guess in a few weeks they will be back to the 'normal' prices.
Very good fun
Thanks

spotted a link to amazon de (germany) on dec 19 ordered wii total £170 incuding delivery arrived dec 22 add £2 for travel plug bob's your uncle. 1 very happy daughter. got sick of grovelling to spotty shop assisants who you would think were selling secrets for a cure for cancer, it is only a game, also noticed a bit of a reduction on ebay with greedy sellers stuck with wii's ha ha0

I really despise it when people blame the shop assistants (or assisants for those who can't spell). Its nice like stores actually have billions of them in the stock room. No, there aren't any... no, we don't know when they are coming in, and no its not possible to pre-order. Its not fun having the phone constantly ringing with people asking for them, and every single customer asking for them. I'd love to be able to sell an unlimited supply of them to make people happy... but you can't sell what you simply don't have.
You think its "Greedy sellers" on ebay. Take a look at the starting price. Its the DEMAND that is pushing up prices, not the sellers. Ebay is a very natural market place in that respect. Demand decreases, prices decrease. Very basic economics. You think that businesses aren't making a profit from the sale of goods? The Ebay sellers took their inititive to get hold of and then sell Wiis. That's just good business. Saying that, those people with starting prices of above the RRP, or BIN's of like £800 are just greedy.~Diminutive0 -
