    Hello again,

Thanks again for all the replies, ds is smallish for his age (most of his friends tower over him) but not skinny, tesco's, if i get lucky might have some age 13-14 jeans but it really is hit and miss in out local store.

I desparetely need to get him a few bits as he's off to camp next week so time is running out.

We dont have a Topman so rules that one out.

Looks like he's going to have to try on in the shops, he's going to love me! :rotfl:

Definitely try him in mens small or extra small. Must admit I am struggling for jeans as my son is very small but even a 28 in waist is too big!

DS3 seemed to be in that awkward between child an adult size for ages.
Asda do an extra small in some of their menswear and JD sports XLB is almost a small mens without the VAT.
DS1 was the hardest to buy for, he wouldn't wear anything with a label or prominent stitching. Buying plain black isn't as easy as it sounds, I used to have to cut the labels off jeans. We also had the problem of a 26" waist and 34" leg, nightmare! Thank goodness he has fattened up in his early 20s and is now a 28" waist :)

Went to Primark and found some mens jeans, 28"w 30"leg and got him to try them on, the result was they were too small in the waist !
The 30"w fit lovely to my shock horror.
There was another lady by the changing room waiting for her son who said she had exactly the same problem with her son (also aged 13).
Very pleased as the jeans were reduced to £7.00, also managed to get him some shorts and swim shorts for camp.

Thanks for all the suggestions, i know i have more options now.
