Where do you shop for teenage boys clothes?
I know the girls tend to pick Primark as they are trendy and cheap but is there an equilivent for the boys? Or is Primark still the place to go?
He's not really into 'named' stuff but wants to look nice while still being comfortable (doesnt really like joggers but loves jeans/combats).
I dont want to spend a fortune and shop wise althought i am near the town centre we dont really have a lot here (New Look, Bhs, Officers club, Next, M +S, Sports Direct, Debenhams, Peacocks -that i'm not overly keen on)
We've got a Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys local but none seem cover his age range (occaissonaly Tesco have but its being in there at the right time) and i dont go there very often.
I managed to pick him up some tshirts in Matalan on Saturday.
Any suggestions?

Hi. My son is 15 1/2. Online I ordered him in the Next Sale ordered him a Superdry tshirt £20 instead of £48, a Tommy Hilfiger half price, a couple of replay tshirts and a levi tshirt. Hes not into makes as such but we try and keep him looking decent. I ordered him a load of tops and he picks a handful to keep and I return the rest. I couldn't take him shopping hes a nightmare because he hates it. We get him the odd hoody in sports direct. I got him jeans from Next, hes in age 16, so will probably move into the mens sizes soon.0

It's quite tricky getting teenage boys clothes I found. DS is 19 now and buying mens clothes, but when he was younger, I usually ended up in Primark.0

Teenage boys are so variable in size for their age it is a nightmare buying anything.
H&M do up to age 14 with a slightly bigger fit than M&S but no uniform stuff. New Look are not bad but only if they are tall enough for men's sizes. Really stuck with on-line only locally which is a real pain with sizes Height/Waist.Truth always poses doubts & questions. My son likes H&M for jeans, M&M Direct for discounted sports brands and Bank for T shirts. He's 13 and larest kids size/ x small mensPeople seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

I had a vip slot for Next. If you do shop online, the last sale I didnt get a slot so kept going on the sale bit first thing in a morning as they do add stuff on all the time.0

Many thanks for your replies, i thought i was the only one struggling!
Do Primark do a teenage boy section?
It's about a 35 mile round trip for me so i dont really want to take him there on a wasted journey (if i can help it).My beloved dog Molly27/05/1997-01/04/2008RIP my wonderful stepdad - miss you loads:Axxxxxxxxx:Aour new editionsSenna :male: and Dali :female: both JRT0 -
My son likes band t-shirts nowadays, so I just buy those or plain black, same with hoodies (from Tesco if possible). I get his black jeans from next because they do a range of styles and fits (he's a skinny child). Next is out of my price range really, but I buy in the online sales. I paid £10 last week for his sale jeans, only to be told by his friends that £10 is expensive for jeans! They are not so skinny though, so they can wear supermarket trousers.
My nephews like primark and new look, but they are more 'skater' than 'rocker'.
The sports shops cater for kids who wear sportswear all the time.
We were talking about this yesterday actually, my mum was saying Asda don't seem to sell clothes for teenage boys.52% tight0 -
Will he not fit into mens?
My son was 15 in May and has been wearing men's stuff for a couple of years now.
He gets his own clothes with Bday/Christmas and pocket money and spends a bomb on them, he's mad!
The only thing he has worn in the past 2 years which I've picked, are 2 pairs of Adidas clima shorts from the Next sale last week.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0
