Hey all, sorry i've no been around. Had loads and loads on at the moment. One of my friends 3 year old son has neuroblastoma cancer and we're raising money for his treatments. I'm organising a sale of baby things to raise funds in a couple of weeks so i've been on with that. I also decided to let things slide a little in favour of spending more time with the kids, but it's now gone too far the other way. Really need to find a healthy balance!

Problem is when i do a lot in the week when do you fit it in??? Monday we went out to the park and had a picnic, which took up most of the day (with getting ready and things included). Tuesday my Grandma came round so that day was spent with her. Wednesday i was at the library in the morning and a group in the afternoon with the inbetween times spent eating and getting ready etc. Then today we met some mums and babies/toddlers for a couple of hours and came home for lunch and my parents are coming round in a bit. Thenkfully i can just abandon mum and dad with the kids and get on with some housework, but all i will be able to get done is the "surface" stuff cause of how behind i am. When do you do it?? I know every week won't be this busy, but i would like it to be. It drives me crackers when we're in all day, but then going out just takes up such a massive chunk of time!

Anyhoo, i hope everyone is well. Hugs, sticks, spoons, big sloppy snogs and general well wishes to you. :)
    Sarah. :p

if its not on the list, its done! been very busy this week. :)

    Nesting!! :D

    Welcome ixia

I have been to Homebase & bought some paint (quick drying gloss - it is low odour & washes in soap & water :j) as I couldn't get the lid off the one in the shed (after fighting my way through spiders webs ) and feels almost empty anyway. And (wait for it...) I have painted the LR door!! :j:j Unfortunately, it makes the rest of the paintwork look really old & grubby now :o At least I will be able to clean it now when it comes up on the lists :)

Dog has been walked (the sun came out, it was very therapeautic), and DD1 dropped at work. Downstairs loo & basin cleaned.

I need to tackle upstairs soon, but I have hit the pm wall of fatigue :o DD2 has just made me a cuppa :coffee::shocked: so I will see how I feel after that :p

    hello all

thanks for the kitten mention Mrs C - I am sure you are right...it looked perky enough anyway!

been into work and tidied and took, to the tip, 5 binbags full of shredding - I only filled one but the others were in the ICT suite and there's no room for them there, also took 4 recycling bags of paper - so that's all been skipped (into a proper paper skip).

We let a man in who had come to do a job. Now, I knew this job was going to be done 'over the hols' - it's transferring some equipment from one room to another. But I didn't know when the head had arranged for this. So I let him in and I waited until he had gone then I locked up. Then I phoned the caretaker to tell her he had been. She knew nothing. No one else turned up to admit him so goodness knows what would have happened had we not been there. Courtesy is going to prevent me from typing what I really think but the word brewery is involved

    anyway kitchen's a mess...better do summat!
