strolls in full of bonhomie, eggs benedict and walnut and honey tart

    how's it going

and someone talk some sense into me now

at the junction of the A621 and the A619 just this side of Baslow I saw a kitten.

I'm convinced it must have been thrown out of a car. It was a tabby, strolling on a wide grass verge

I cannot take it in I have two cats and a VERY VERY guilty conscience for leaving it there, although it was a roundabout/no safe place to pull up...
I did see a car turning back though...and I don't know for certain how it got there or if it might have a home.
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

In my HHC I didn't get as much done but have moved and sorted by desk, moved my filing cabinet and printer back, took some bits upstairs and sorted my underwear. Next challenge at 4.30 - anyone want to join me?

It's 'cos you are one of us now! :j

    Happy Birthday to Boddy.

juliejim - I hope the interview went well :)

LW - I have some spoons for you :D I hope you enjoy your time with Ted & he keeps the BD away

Hex - good luck! I think my DH could do with some of that :) I think he is holding out for a pay-off though :D

Not much flying today. Bins emptied, food bin washed. Picnic packed. We went to Tilbury Fort today - note to self - check opening times BEFORE we leave next time :o It isn't open on Wednesdays :( We went to Wat Tyler park instead - a large nature reserve, with big adventure playground and miniture train - so all was not lost! :)
We are back now, and chilling. Flying may have to wait until Little Miss Sunshine goes home now :D I will look at the list though - baby steps!!

Keep thinking of lots too say but don't have the energy to type it!

Need to find some, as I need to get stuff done. However, my presentations have all miraculously met their deadlines which is unheard of.

Bathroom mirror has arrived, but I still haven't ordered the cabinet. Mattress topper has been washed and 90 and is on the line. Weather is rubbish so it will have to be tumbled later. Just need to work out how to turn the mattress in my enfeebled state...

Fingers crossed I will have help tomorrow so the rest of the cleaning will get done. It would therefore be sensible yo get on and do a bit more tidying while I have some time...

Happy anniversary Hex :) your lifestyle change sounds great - I seem to remember that OH was really happy when he was on gardening leave last year and doing creative stuff at home.

Hope the interview went well Jue :)
