Hi all,

I have read other forum threads but I'm not 100% sure on the matter. Basically I'm moving to a rented flat on the 1st August. Their is a BT socket and have been told by the estate agents the phone line has been disconnected so wil need to be reconnected if we want a phone line and the internet. Do I have to get BT to reconnect the phone line? or can I get TalkTalk to do it? and lastly which is cheaper?

Talk Talk or any of the major ISP/Phone companies will be able to arrange this for you.
If the connection still exists this is usually free of charge, but some may charge an admin fee (£10-ish).
If you have a current BB?Phone contract, check with your current ISP, but also have a look at other packages available as you may get better and this would be a good point to change if you are considering doing so.
