Tried to buy a Ryanair flight but got voucher instead

Fun fun fun!
Was trying to book a Ryanair flight. I thought, oh I wonder if it would be cheaper if I got a voucher. So I filled in the bit for buying vouchers BUT DID NOT BUY and realised there was less than a quid difference, so I decided not to bother.
Went back to book the flight - the bit on the right hand side of the web page was all about the flights, costs etc, yes including the cost of using a credit card.
Booked it and they sent me this ...
YOUR RESERVATION NUMBER IS: MYYJGC

PAYMENT DETAILS
*********0.00 GBP Total Fare
*********0.00 GBP Taxes, Fees & Charges
*******100.00 GBP Passenger Fee: Voucher Fee
*********5.00 GBP Passenger Fee: Voucher Handling Fee
VOUCHER?!!
Not too pleased as I had booked a flight in good faith, but thought, oh well perhaps I can get on and book the flight and use this to part-pay.
put the "reservation number" into the voucher reference field and clicked retrieve
was told "your voucher value is zero"
Again, time for the
face.
I shall ring them up tomorrow and try to get this sorted out, but I thought I would share the joy....
... the fact I am down as Mr. rather than Ms is (I understand) a minor matter - when trying to redeem the voucher it certainly made no difference what I put down as my title.
Obviously if someone has any similar experiences to share, go ahead
