Special Delivery, quick question...

I sent some documents via special on Monday afternoon with guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next day.
Having checked the tracking it tells me the documents were delivered, but does not provide a date, time or signature for the delivery.
I need to prove that the documents were received on Tuesday but at the moment I cant. The electronic tracking shows this:
Your item with reference *************** has been delivered.
If the item is being delivered to you at work, and you have not received it, please check with the mailroom or your colleagues.
The electronic Proof of Delivery for this item is now displayed below.

What do I do now please? Obviously RM have not provided the service I have paid for so how do I go about reclaiming the £5.50 this cost me, and more importantly, how do I prove this was delivered on Tuesday?

not quite
it depends on the delivery method used
if it was by PDA then the sig updates in real time
if it was on ye olde signature sheet then the item updates as delivered on day
but it takes time for the sheets to be sent off and then scanned/uploaded0 -

When you send an item using Special Delivery™ Next Day. Special Delivery™ 9.00am and also Recorded Signed For™, we can confirm when your item arrives. Within 72 hours of delivery, we will also show you an electronic image of the signature received on delivery. ePod is available for a maximum of 12 months from the date of delivery.

well contact RM customer services and ask them to check the intranet
it could be as simple as a glitch on the IT
SD is delivered IIRC over 99%
it has a high success rate but due to the criss cross in generations of hardware/software it can lead to issues like this0 -

I didn't know if that was possible not having experienced problems before.
I dont know it is
I dont know If RM CS can access the intranet or not0 -
Right, have spoken to RM who tell me the items were delivered at 7am the following day, however, a signature was not obtained. As this is the crucial bit of proof I needed, that I paid the £5.50 to obtain I now want a refund of that postage.
A P58 form seems to deal with lost items, how do I go about claiming a refund please?0
