Having signal problems with 3 here in Wrexham area. 3's people in store keep fobbing me and others off saying "they think there are some masts out of use in the area" and give a phone number to call  .
So, how can I find out if any masts are down or work being carried out?

Jesus effin christ. USE A PHONE THAT DOES WORK OR CHECK/REPORT IT ONLINE. It isn't flaming rocket science. Are you seriously this stupid or are you doing this to wind people up?
I'm quite sure the guy with the dongle had enough common sense to work out how to check online.
There should be a competency test before people are allowed to buy technology.0 -

Right.
I'll use caps as you have, because it must be big and hard to do so.
THE PHONE IS NOT THE PROBLEM, IT IS THE NETWORK THAT IS THE PROBLEM. I HAVE REPORTED IT ONLINE BUT TO NO USE.
OK, back to lower case.
How effin, (as you put it ) dare you call me stupid. And as far as technology goes I have no problem whatsoever. All I asked for was if anyone knew/knows where I can find out if there is a mast/s down in my area, that is all.
If all you have to contribute is insults, nastiness and snipes then don't bother posting..
You are one nasty, sad person with a large chip on your shoulder....

First off,
When you are in the three store with your phone, do you have a signal? Do the staff in the store have a signal?
If your signal is low and theirs is it is a network problem and you need to use the landline phone in their store to call the number they gave you.
If your signal is low and theirs isn't it is a problem with the SIM or Phone. They should test the SIM in another phone and if the problem persists, issue a new SIM. If the problem doesn't persists with the SIM in a new phone they need to send yours off for repair.
Very simple, perhaps print this off and show it to them in case they can't figure it out for themselves?Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

I could get a signal in the store when I called in earlier, but last weekend neither me or the staff could get a signal. The problem now seems to be on the outskirts of the town.
They are not very helpful in the store, they just say that they have had a lot of people calling in with the same problem, and it should be sorted by next week, "hopefully" . The chap I spoke to didn't seem too confident.
One of the other sale men butted in and said that he's been told that the service will be improved when it comes back online. I wait with baited breath....
Where I work I can never get a signal unless I go and stand in the middle of the car park, but a year or 18 months ago the phone would lock on to 2g signal.
There are quite a few people at work on 3 but all say since the loss of signal they will go with another network when their contract ends..0 -
