Looking for this switch (there is a picture)

The most ideal solution would be to fit like with like. Based on the response so far it is beginning to look as though the pictured double switch is not available via the normal electrical outlets. I think I will take it off and take the switch to a shop I know of that specialises in lighting0

One last try here to source the switch...0

Anyone able help me find this switch, it is proving hard to find...0

No - it looks pretty unique. Had a look at a lot of the online stores, on your original post, and nothing comes close. The double architrave switch (post #8) looks very much your best bet?
You'll need to tweak the wires a bit (loop the live etc) but this is a mains switch so the terminals will have adequate capacity for the lamp cable. Only problem I see is that architrave switches tend not to come in black.
PS
But worth trying to source the original manufacturer and see if they can help? Have found manufacturers quite helpful with daft bits that break on items that are otherwise in good condition. For instance the OH is pretty hard on those little buffers that go between the toilet seat and the pan! Took a while to trace the manufacturer - who freely provided several spares without enquiring if her bum looked big on their seat.If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
I would try Kem Timms in Scunthorpe first (http://www.domesticspares.co.uk/) as they do try to help on the phone/email. If no luck I would then try CPC. (http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/home/homepage.jsp) or Radio Spares (http://rswww.com/). Unfortunately (in my experience) it is often the case with this type of domestic component that it is cheaper to buy a new product than source a spare part. I would also consider fitting two seperate in line switches (about £1 each from Wilkinsons).0

Have you tried the manufacturer who produced the lamp? They may have a spares department with the part you need.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0

Toolstation sell inline switches but it's only a single. You could always glue 2 together...

Or you could use one single in line switch to control both the lamps and if you like a second in line switch for the directional lamp only.
Personally I would use a 5 Amp rather than a 2 Amp switch if possible.0 -
If you give up on the original manufacturer - and have to opt for the architrave switch .. there's a double box here :-
http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/MKK2152.html
...... to go with the double switch :-
http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/MKK4842.html
- seems obvious. But some sites stock the switch, but rarely the box to go with it !
If you want to be innovative? I think that two of these :-
http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/MKK4841.html
...... mounted either side of this box :-
http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/MKK2151.html
.. would do the trick? You would need to mod the box by cutting out as much of the back plate (it's not adding much to the strength / rigidity) as needed to accept the 2nd switch. Then very carefully drill out the back of the 2 x screw receptors - and use small self tappers into the bottom of the metal screw pillars?
My last effort! I'm fed up with looking at hundreds of switches on Maplins etc - to see if any of them will modify - none appear to. So - it's the architrave stuff / electrocution using the existing one .... or sitting in the dark!If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
