Best place to buy a desktop PC.

I've looked at Dell, PC World, Amazon, but where else?
Looking for a desktop that can handle graphics well so such as Flight Simulator as well as COD, and other similar simulator/RPG's play on high settings.
Budget around £300 - £500 but obviously as usual, the cheaper the better!
Would be great to have a widescreen monitor as well but not essential as unit needs to have the power.

If suitable, you then have £120 to improve the graphics

I did look at that earlier but the hardrive is first listed at 500gb and then listed again at 320gb.
I know there is a company like Mesh Computers (not Mesh as they don't really exist anymore!) but for the life of me I can't remember who they are!Estate Agent, Web Designer & All Round Geek!0 -

Hubby used to use novatech as they're local but started using http://www.ebuyer.com/ quite a while ago now as they're prices are very competitive and their customer service and delivery times are very good too. We've bought parts, laptops and PC's from them (hubby is an IT tech).

Or you could try Scan Computers but ignore their pre-assembled systems. They're one of the cheapest for PC components. Decide on which components you need, give them a call and they'll advise you further based on your requirements. You'll pay around an extra £150-£200 to have the PC built and tested (takes about a week) which also includes a 3 year warranty. You can also ask pre/post sales questions on their excellent forum:

Anyone know anything about Dino pc? They seem to have some pretty good computers at reasonable prices.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0

Dino are one that comes up quite often, basically the main thing that people seem to have a problem with is their somewhat optimistic delivery times - other than that the systems are well priced and good spec
anyways the places i go when looking at PC's (i build my own but always find it interesting to look at pre configured)
Dino PC
Cyberpower
PC specilist
Aria
Novatech
Scan

on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0
