Urgent !!! Cant find my drivers licence

I'm pretty sure that you need both parts of your license if you have a photocard license but maybe the rental company won't know this.

I applied for a new photocard and it came in two days but this may still be too late for you.

If worse comes to the worse you should be able to change main driver at the rental office by paying a fee.

as someone mentioned earlier not everyone has a photo licence just the paper one, give them the paper copy its more relevant anyway as it would show any points you have and if they ask for the photo copy play dumb and tell them you never had one they wont know the difference.

my OH forgot his lecense a few years ago (we're in England). I had mine so they put me as main driver which meant i had to pay for the hire car (don't know if they could make you do this though as you have already paid) and then as mentioned above we paid DVLA £5 over the phone for them to fax a copy of his license to the car hire company. Hope you sort this out. Don't suppose you've been super-organised and already put your driving license with your passport and holiday documents?
