Urgent !!! Cant find my drivers licence

So im flying to alicante on tuesday morning at 05:00 and i have a rental car payed for in full, which has cost over 400 pounds.
I cant find the plastic card of my licence and i will need it for them to give me the car.
I need to know if anyone has any idea how to get a licence quick, i mean super quick.
The printing place for licences is in Coleraine which is like a 40 minute drive from where i live, i was wondering if i drove to them and told them my predicament that they might push a replacement through for me that day.
I know this is a long shot but i havnt got a clue what else to do right now, panicking...
Any help however how small will be greatly, greatly appreciated!

i dont know, when i payed for the car they said it had be payed for iby card in the name of the main driver, thats already been done. Theoretically i could get my partner to drive it as a second driver but i would still need mine to get the car in the first place.0

Not sure if it still operates, but there was an arrangement whereby the DVLA could fax a copy of your driving licence directly to the rental company. You would need to check with the rental company first to see if a faxed copy is acceptable to them and if so, obtain their fax number so that you can pass it on to the DVLA.0

The rental companies I've used in Spain always want to see the paper part of the license, I'd check with the car hire company to find out what they accept.0

I cant phone the car hire company now until Monday, which is the only day i have left before i go. Im going to try my luck with getting one printed that day if i bring my boarding info and car hire info i don't see a reason why the can say they cannot do it.
Fingers and toes crossed for the next few days.0 -
Just found this page on the DVLA site about replacing lost or stolen licences:
http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/DriverLicensing/NeedANewOrUpdatedLicence/DG_4022085
It refers to a 2-3 week turnaround time.0 -

I don't have a photocard licence, only the paper one as it's not mandatory to have the photocard. If you have the paper part of your licence you should be fine.0

From the OP's post it would appear that they are in Northern Ireland therefore they would need to contact DVLNI not DVLA.

OP - hopefully the same arrangement as mentioned above by dc-scotland will work in NI as it does on the mainland.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

Why cant you phone them over the weekend, all UK brokers are open and I would assume that any rental company abroad (if booked that way) would be open all weekend also.
I dont have a photo license so so only ever show the paper part, dont know if that applies if you have the photo part though0
